And the feeling is mutual. It's been over 35 years since Harry arrived in the City by the Bay and his passion for entertainment is alive as ever. Having owned four San Francisco restaurants/nightcubs, it's indeed not a party in San Francisco unless Harry Denton is in the room.

The brightest jewel in his majesties crown is, of course, Harry Denton's Starlight Room. Harry partnered up with Bill Kimpton and the Sir Francis Drake Hotel in 1995 to open the most elegant nightclub in the city, "between the cable cars and the stars". With his hands in every detail, right down to personally designing the signature black gowns that adorn the female servers. Voted #1 nightclub in the San Francisco Chronicle's Reader's Choice Poll, the elegant 1940's style Starlight Room was a hit! But after 16 years, understandably, it was time for a facelift. Harry is thrilled to welcome you to his new Starlight Room, where he's combined his classic style with modern designs to bring the most luxurious nightclub San Francisco has ever seen. Harry's really outdone himself this time, don't you agree?

While Harry views life as one big party, he holds his community close to his heart and takes every chance he can to give back. From supporting the homeless mothers of San Francisco with Hamilton House to serving as a committee member for the Black and White Ball to hosting charity events for organizations like Meals on Wheels and STOP AIDS Project, Harry can be spotted at any given time working to clutivate an even more exceptional city for us all.
